w former Mayor of Mississauga, Hazel McCallion.
I am a photographer and photo arts educator based in Guelph, Ontario. My work sits at the intersection of academic inquiry and professional practice, and I approach photography as both a creative and critical discipline.
I currently teach in the Creative Arts program at Humber Polytechnic and at the Haliburton School of Arts & Design, where I work with students on developing strong technical skills alongside thoughtful, concept-driven approaches to image-making.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and a Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Media. My academic training continues to shape how I think about photography as a tool for storytelling, research, and visual communication.
My practice focuses on event, documentary, and lifestyle photography, with an emphasis on narrative and real-world context. I work in both still and moving images, aiming to create work that is visually engaging, clear in its purpose, and grounded in the subject matter.
My portfolio includes commercial work, institutional projects, and self-directed creative research. Across these contexts, I prioritize authenticity, care, and a genuine engagement with the people and environments I photograph.
