Kenneth Chou is a versatile photographer and photo arts educator based in Guelph, Ontario. With a strong foundation in both academia and practical experience, Ken
brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his craft.
Currently, Ken holds teaching positions at Humber ITAL in the creative arts program and the Haliburton School of Arts & Design, where he shares his passion for photography with eager learners.
Ken’s educational journey includes earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and a Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Media, which have equipped him with a deep understanding of the medium and its potential for storytelling.
Specializing in events, documentary, and lifestyle photography, Ken considers himself a storyteller at heart, always striving to capture the essence of his subjects and convey their narratives through his lens. Whether working in stills or video, Ken's approach to image creation emphasizes a balance between visual impact and functional aesthetics, resulting in images that are both compelling and accessible.
His portfolio encompasses a diverse range of projects, from commercial assignments to private commissions and personal explorations.
